Interest in Mossberg 590A1 14" or 14" 590A1 CYL/MOD Barrels imported by Irunguns?

Few people received cylinder bore instead of the modified ones as they ordered. I'm new to shotgun can someone please tell me how to check whether mine is cylinder bore or modified?

Read the side of the barrel where it details the calibre.

Is Epps the only place that has the 14" with Ghost ring sights?

Thanks. Im considering selling my 18.5" a1 to get one of the new 14"ones. I love my ghost ring sights so i need to decide if they are worth the extra $100
 
Back on topic for a moment shall we? What is the latest on barrel importation from IRG? I wouldn't mind picking up a spare barrel if this thing comes to fruition.

Well, this was about 6 weeks ago they posted this and it seems that they didn't go ahead with it as all the 14" shotguns showed up. They said they can still get them, but I asked for the Modified version and never heard back.

Too bad but I can understand why. Looks like they really missed the boat, should have been looking at complete shotguns.

Still, I was wondering what would happen if you took off the 590 barrel support and replaced it with one from a 500. Would that give enough clearance that a stock forend would work I wonder? I have a butchered barrel sitting around that I could use to harvest the support ring from and mag tubes are cheap and easy to cut down.

Man I wish they still owned Lakefield, would be so easy to get barrels that way.
