Going to try these in Lapua brass with some varget to push them. Was just wondering if anybody has tried and had some success with them? BC is really nice for the grain, or is a guy to just stick with the scenars?

I use them in my Armalite AR-10T and they are performers, i use the factory fodder from Lapua, would i reload some R-15 would be my first choice for powder... JP.

I was going to stuff them behind some varget with lapua brass, will hopefully have a range report soon if the weather breaks. They will be coming out of a SSG3000 and with the BC the claim, they should be tight...hopefully.

Both my SSG3000 group this Lapua stuff under MOA easy, i like R-15 for the extra 100FPS it give... Also those rifles like 168 and 175 GMM Federal under MOA, the 3000 is not picky at all you should be very happy of it's performance... JP.

All I shoot out of my .308's. Factory load is actually pretty hot. 16" barrel still gets 2550fps. Very accurate, if your gun likes the particular lot number. I have found a couple my gun doesn't like, but those it does it is incredibly accurate.

This .308 is shiny new, so I am yet to see what it likes. I do like to make my own so I have the 170gr Lapua LB and the 168gr VLD target.
Caramel, you say the R-15 will achieve a little more FPS without the pressure signs? What about N150, so you have any experience with that powder?

No, i dont, but R15 and R17 have been favorites of mine, the R17 and the 208 gr Amax @ BC of .648 pushed at 2600 fps + make an awsome buckind wind load out of a 308... JP.
