XCR-L break-in and recoil buffer damage?

Lots of great information here and for that I thank John and Brent.

My question last question is......
What is the recommended barrel break in procedure ?

Lots of information out on the web however I'm looking for the correct way from the pros.

Thanks
Bod

I may not be the best one to answer this one, as everyone has their own take on barrel break in etc. I've only every worried about barrel break in on precision rifles, and not with my battle rifles especially ones with the chrome lined barrel. I just make sure that I don't really heat the barrels up on a new battle style rifle and clean it really well after having it out.

On my precision rifles, I clean/swab after every round for the first 10 rounds, then after every five to 30 rounds, then after every ten 10 rounds till I reach the first 50 rounds

any chance Grumpy might do a quick video on proper lubrication on a XCR-L in key areas & maybe list a few recommended oils to use. CLP or Frog Lube / past or other brands?
or should I just dip mine in a oil drum & then shoot it?
