Does anyone know of clubs still shooting bullseye in Alberta. I'm an old school target shooter and just purchased the same Walther FP I borrowed in the 80s when I was target shooting in NB and NS. I've never really stopped precision target shooting with handguns, just haven't seen this discipline too often. I know a lot of people would say it's boring, but to me if you practice the basic fundamentals of precision shooting you will become competent in action shooting sports and rifles. I don't have pics yet as the transfer was completed today, for those that have them, let's see them.

Here is the Walther I purchased. I'm waiting for just a bit warmer day to try this out. The trigger is extremely light but precise. Got to remember to keep fresh batteries on hand. First ammo I will try is Lapua SK Standard.

Calgary Rifle and Pistol Club still holds ISSF and NRA bullseye matches. Next ISSF match is October 31 - November 2. Some bullseye league still run at Phoenix Range in Edmonton. Look up ab.shooters.ca for other info.

Interesting gun, pretty much the first one to come out with an electronic trigger.

50m ISSF can be lots of fun, I.E: challenging.
Amazing how small the black of the target is at that distance.
Then if you have the Canadian free pistol Champion scoring you target at a match.....:)
