Aluminum Chasis Craze

AI L96

I have 2-3 designs in slow progress that should be pretty cool and reasonably priced once done. Been way too busy with other stuff the last 6months. Hopefully gonna get some time during the holidays to cut some metal and test some new ideas.

I find the rear end is the toughest part, everybody out there pretty much just has a half assed odd looking contraption that sorta gets the job done but ehh, as can be seen on nearly all the stocks above, really trying to solve that.

I remember one from the mid-90's called a PUG (Pretty Ugly Gun?). The distinctive feature was it used the same grip shape and panels as the M1911. I seem to remember seeing it in Precision Shooter, but my Goofle-fu is failing me to find pictures.

Have a look at http://ranchers.net/forum/about15916.html It is a Simonsen PUG rifle stock; the bottom is just the "holder", the top is a clamp around the receiver.

Sinclair international had there own F-class stock at one time, all aluminum with pistol grip and raised cheek piece.........I'll have to dig around for a pic..........or just bust mine out and take one.......

Actually after anodizing, and painted with a nice coated of you favour colour, doesn't feel cold at all, even at minus 20 Degree Celsius.
This one fit the Sig SSG3000.

im a huge fan of the "minimalist look" of some chassis with straight cut lines and an industrial look to them... even though its not a "chassis" one of my fave rifles ever is the nemesis arms vanquish... so far, the only chassis I like are the Dolphin, Eliseo, Mcree, Rock Solid chassis, all the others look weird to me lol... is there any more like this? what I would love is one like these but that would be a 6 or 7 lb rifle that I could use for hunting....

There is also Sisk Stocks

Very heavy duty stocks, made from a big billet of aluminum.

The big difference with these is the rotatable buttstock. You can rotate the entire buttstock rather than just the recoil pad.

I handled one at SHOT 2013. One big block of Aluminum, very heavy duty.

Roedale Precision RCS II

That's not a Roedale, that's an AI with Viper Skins, guaranteed that's the crap that is keeping AI from producing a chassis for any other actions. Sorry, I don't mean to go off on you as you clearly aren't the owner of the company but that right there is guaranteed what is holding up AI.
