just started looking into these from what i have been reading they are looking pretty nice for the money anyone have any first hand experience with them i`ve been out of the gun market for a while so some of these new models look very interesting for the money thanks

Have had a hatsan mpa-Ts for over a year. It's worth every penny and then a lot more. Reliable. Great quality. Very very accurate with slugs. Light yet easy on the shoulder!
Love this ahotgun and would highly recommend It to anyone!!

Mine was a MP pump with full length 7 shot tube.

S&J and SFRC sell extensions for them. In stock items will vary though. ATI offers one too I believe.

Michelle, where about in NS do you live if you don't mind me asking? A lot of dealers have these SG's locally.

I don't see the point of spending money on a mag extension that can't be utilized. I agree it looks better with a long tube but I prefer function over looks.

My MPA-T/S in OD Green is great. Stock started coming undone after the first few boxes of shells, and needed tightening. Other than that, quality seems great. I've yet to fire slugs, but it's cycled three kinds of cheapo winchester shells flawlessly.

Now you beat me, crashcollins. I have a +1 extension on mine, very well made aluminum KA-LE01 that was made for SFRC. It's half the length of the US version. I'd rather the longer one, and plug it myself, but I think the only place selling it is S&J, and he's out of stock.

Who says you can't utilize them? Your allowed 5 in the mag so you can utilize them for 1 extra shell capacity. 5 is one better than 4 after all.

My optima mpa-ts holds aprox 5.75 2 3/4 shells. Yes I could spend the cash and get the +1 extension and that would be functional.
But to spend 75$? Not sure of the price of the +2 then have to permanently plug it just seems silly to me.
But to each his own.
