For Those Who Appreciate Single Shot Rifles

Obviously 1889 was making a back-handed slap on old Moonbeam who is notorious for worrying about how much money everyone else in the world spends on things.

There was a beautiful 7x57 on EE several months ago. I was really close to buying it. They're fine rifles, especially the case hardened series (at double the cost). In the end, I needed an all-weather, general purpose warrior to fit a specific need in my much reduced collection -- a single shot, walnut 'n blued beauty wasn't going to cut it.
