Please educate me on Mec reloader

I am looking into shot shell reloading mainly for waterfowl hunting (non-toxic) and would like to buy a Mec loader can do both 12 and 10 ga upto 3.5" if possible.

Anybody in shot shell reloading has some hints / tips to share?

Also, where is the best place to shop for components?

youll have to buy a loader(in 12g lets say) then a upgrade kit for 3.5 since the standard 12g only does 2 3/4 and 3". then you'll have to buy a die set for 10g

It is not worth it to start changing tools back and forth once they are set up
I use mec steel masters and size masters for this type of reloading and have one for 12 ga 3" one 12 ga 3 1/2 and one 10ga 3 1/2
You could do it with just 2 steel masters by adding a 3 1/2 to 3" short kit to the 12ga 3 1/2
