I just got an email from ADCOR to pre-order their new Keymod hand guards (13") to replace the existing Quad rail.

I am stoked for this. I was going to have the rails milled off or my existing hand guards.

I sent them an email to see if us north of the border can get in on the pre-order for $245USD.

Wondering if we'll need to go through the original dealer (SaskGW - which I suspect will be for most) to get those. I never registered my upper with Adcor.

It's a long, sad Toronto story. Kept thinking the CF was going to post me, so I've yet to bother with registering the restricted lower. I've been focusing on NR for the time being. On the plus side, I've slowly been buying pieces for the eventual lower build.

Still deciding on a truly ambi lower as well; I've bothered Epoxy a few times about it. Really liking the look of the Patriot Ordnance, but haven't gotten a good line on a stripped, or even just a lower...

My understanding what their decision to do so was tied to their participation in the competition for the M4 replacement. Since that comp was killed by the Army last year, I'm hoping that this decision was revised.

IRunGuns was importing ADCOR were they not?

I'd be happy to give you more of my business if possible for this purchase - nothin' but great things to say about SGW!

It's dumb for ADCOR to sell to Canadians, and then seemingly decide not to offer product support or upgrades. Not a nice business decision for those out of country who bought their product.

I really think it all had to due with the comp for the M4 replacement, eventhough it's not the Cdn market that would have depleted their inventory anyways.

Well, there may be light, seems several of the staff making dumb decisions are not longer at ADCOR, this may become a possibility again, keep you posted.
