People Eating Tasty Animals

well, I am all for one shot clean instant kills....................... I don't like to see suffering in any way. I don't kill anything just for sport. There always has to be a reason for me to kill. Either I eat it or my pets are in danger or there is an over population of certain species etc.

lol! Well, I'm out there looking to shoot yotes these days. I don't eat 'em, but they are killing off what few deer that there are around. It makes me sick knowing that they eat the deer "alive"! Mother Nature sure is one cruel Beech! The yotes can be heard howling in the early morning about 75 yards or less behind the house. My two dogs and a cat wanna go out for a morning P, so these yotes gotta go. I leave the lower end deer scraps on the floor in the attached garage inviting the weasels to move it in exchange for them keeping the mice out. I put out bird feeders and bird seeds year round to help out the wildlife. Deer salt blocks and alpha bales by the artesian well and fish pond out back. I do shoot and kill the black duck fish robber's known as Cormorant's (legal or not) when they come to steal my trout fish from my pond! Also I ended the day for 2 great blue herren that were here to do the same. Again, legal or not! Steal from me and you die! Threaten me and or my family and pets, you die. Legal or not!

Many animals endure prolonged, painful deaths when they are injured but not killed by hunters.

The stupidity makes my head hurt...

Every animal dies a horrific death when they get eaten alive by predators when they become too slow to escape.

SMH....

I'd have no problem giving up meat, if they could produce a plant that tastes like bacon.

There's nothing morally wrong with killing for sport, like any predator, its in our DNA. I can hunt for heads, hides, or meat, my reason for hunting is simply to hunt. But I do have empathy for wild animals, and I'm with you on being opposed to unnecessary cruelty or causing undue suffering to any animal, coyotes and wolves included. They're just trying to make a living the only way they can, and I don't blame them for that. But that doesn't mean I won't shoot them, or enjoy shooting them when I have the opportunity. Sometimes, due to a poor shot, an animal is wounded, and a hunter knows that's always a possibility, but then its his responsibility to to ensure he finishes what he starts. Provided that's done the PETA folks have little to complain about. The trouble is, as human populations become more urbanized, PETA's particular point of view will become more prevalent, as folks are further removed from the natural world. Then we end up with legislation which no longer considers game populations a resource, and is passed for political expedience rather than for reasons of sound and sustainable management.

The world takes all kinds, it amazes me how some people are quick to judge but get pissed off if anyone else questions them, live and let live, just my two sense.
