THIS IS A MONTHLY TARGET, SHOOT ANY TIME IN THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER

EVERYONE WELCOME

RULES
1)Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.

2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.

3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
(The rules for shooting 5m or 10m are that the distance from the target to the firing line should be 10m for rifle and 5m for pistol. All shots, from whatever shooting position must be made with the competitor wholly behind the firing line but able to touch it. Basically the shooter should be behind the line but the part of the gun not being held by the shooter can protrude past the line.)

4) All targets to be shot standing.

5) Any sighting device may be used.

6) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.

7) 22 shots total, 2 shots per target. Max score is 220. Up to 5 sighting/practice shots for the green target in the bottom centre.

8) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).

9) Scoring is as marked on target, Only 2 shots per target counts. Maximum score is 220.

10) Entries need to be scanned or photographed and posted. Please list shooting category (5M Pistol or 10M Rifle), gun, calibre (also state if it was a pellet or BB), sighting device and score.

11) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries, only one entry for each, but all rules must be followed. THERE IS ONE EXCEPTION - IF YOU HAVE ANY KIDS WHO WANT TO PARTAKE, LET THEM AND SUBMIT THEIR ENTRIES AS WELL. JUST MAKE CLEAR WHO'S RESULTS ARE WHO'S.

12) Score your own target. Scoring will be verified by board officials.

13) An honourable contest for sport. To lie or cheat, is the only real loser. Please keep it above-board!

Quick question, if I shot between the score boxes, which score counts, the higher or lower value?

Here's my rifle entry.

Rifle: Crosman Quest 500
Sights: Iron
Ammo: 0.177cal
Position: Standing unassisted
Distance: 10yrds
Score: 148pts

I have a stack of previous targets, but this time I just got down to shooting. So here's my entry:

Category: 5M Pistol
Gun: Crosman 1322, 6 pumps per shot
Calibre: .22 pellet, Crosman Premier Hollowpoint
Site: 2x power pistol scope
Score: 167

On the 8th target I could have sworn I made two shots, but couldn't for the life of me see how I one-holed them so completely that I couldn't tell. So I took another shot and ended up with a goose egg. Next time I'll lay out the required number of pellets before I start so I'll know I'm not crazy.

And I just noticed that target 4 should have been scored 9+9=18, so that bumps my total up to 167.

I'll try to get the 953 out for a rifle target, too. It'll be good practice for the aperture sight recently installed.

Here's my pistol entry:

Distance: 5M
Pistol: Crosman 1377 American Classic
Ammo: 0.177cal Crosman Super Match
Sights: Stock iron
Score: 177/220

Here's my submission, this is only the 2nd time shooting the pistol.
I did this just like the Olympic style with one hand.

FWB P44
5M
H&N Finale Match Pistol .177
Open Sights
Score 181

I'll take you at your word this time ;) On the next competition, try to remember to not delete the image you upload. :) At least you got out to shoot the target, I sure didn't (too much hunting and family time).
