I had a long range day with my NEA 7.62 upper on a Norinco lower and it shot beautifully with surplus Chinese, Romanian and LCW (Ukrainian) was especially good. Groups were same hole at 50 and about 2.5 at 100 (I blame my #### Norinco trigger for this - it's also brand new and pretty stiff). I have a 4x optic.
I'm confident that with some high quality ammo and a good trigger you're looking at 1.5" @ 100.
I had zero malfunctions other than some light strikes with Romanian only - must be extra hard primers. The upper I have seems to be built like a tank. There is a lifetime warranty so I'm not too worried.
Cleanup after the range was similar to any other gun I shoot with corrosive: Boiling water followed by compressed air and, you guessed it: G96. Including the gas tube
