Interesting that you mention the "kick". I was watching a few videos/reviews and there are complaints on the recoil being felt in the cheek/gun jumping from side to side. I wouldn't give up on the velcro just yet. Do you remember if you degreased with the alcohol swab prior to applying the adhesive backing?
He said the velcro on the gun wasn't the issue it was the side saddle detaching from the velcro
See post # 19. Maybe you're not familiar with how these are set up (I'm not being smart/sarcastic). The side saddle has the hook velcro and the separate strip of loop velcro is "glued" to the receiver.
The Velcro attached the the shotgun reciever did not come undone. The side saddle Velcro would not stay attached to Velcro on the reciever. It's would "rip off" from the recoil.Brand new product.

I used Velcro (S&J) and they kept falling off on me after 10 or so rounds.
This why we came up with our DSC pouch, no need to have a shotgun only rig with you have this on any rig, even a belt if our bot using a chest or war beltYeah I guess it depends if you want a chest rig solely for shotguns or multi application. I wanted molle modular capability so my vest could change with my shooting and caliber preference each outing. I'm really stoked about my vest and can't wait to start using it.
Maybe we should get a vest/rig thread going? I don't see much mention of them here. I never really considered them until recently, so maybe others will start looking into them if there's some discussion and user custom setup photos to look at?

There has to be somthing wrong with the soft size as there is no way the hook size on the DSC is not holding
We use US made. Us mil spec velcro, webbing anD thread
Send us your address and we will send youe more sticky velcro and try that.
I can hold my gun loaded sideway by the DSC without the gun falling off.
We are close to 9000 sold in the last few years.
I have one in my truck that been loaded for year and stuck in place.
