Diamondhead VRS-T 15" handguard

Anybody know where to get one of the 15" VRS-T handguards? I Know ctcsupplies carries them but only have the 13.5". Same for IRUNGUNS, only the 13.5".

I may just end up with the 13.5", but it's going to be on a 18" barrel with a rifle length gas system. Will the 13.5" cover the gas block?
 
My 10.25" would cover a mid-length gas block so the 13.5" should cover a rifle length. The gas port is at 12" on a rifle length, no?

Yep an A2 rifle length handguard is 12" long, so if you have a lo-pro gas block (1" long) 13.5" would cover it up.

I think a 13" would look a little better as I'm not a huge fan of having a handguard all the way up to the muzzle, as long as you have enough real-estate for a proper grip, you're just adding extra weight. But that's just like, my opinion man! :D

Honestly I'm the same way, I don't mind a little bit of the barrel sticking out, I was more concerned about covering the gas block, plus the barrel is a polished steel so don't wanna cover up the eye candy. As for the VRS, since it is angled at the front, it should still cover the gas block though, right?

The 13.5" refers to the top rail, the bottom is about an inch anda half longer than that. Btw, you're going to love this rail, it's not the lightest but it feels awesome.

Ok perfect. I think I'll just go with the 13.5" then. The VRS has been my number one choice for a rail, I'm not a big quad rail guy since the only thing that would get bolted to the rail is maybe a bipod or iron sights. It looks like a very comfortable rail. Thanks for your help.
 
I received my new barrel last week and the handguards a couple days ago. I'm glad I went with the 13.5" rail, it fits perfectly and covers the gas block. I think the 15" would have been to long and looked weird. Thanks for your advice guys. Pictures are just of everything hand tight, I'm still waiting for some other parts. Also just ignore the quality control specialist.

Beautiful! I'm glad you're happy with it.
 
I like mine although I find it just a little bit too slender for my paw, and while they bring in the hand guards themselves, no one seems to bring in the rail sections

The magpul sections (5 slot and 11 slot I think) work on them (the 11 slots are a bit tight so you may have to egg out one of the holes). It has 40mm hole spacing, so anything with that hole spacing pattern will work!
