I love my Thunderbolt. I've had it for a while now, I think it was one of the first ones sold by Wolverine. Only problem to date was the thumb safety broke somehow after <500 rounds. Wolverine stepped right up and sent out a new thumb safety for me, no charge! They definately have me as a customer for life and I see a new SAM Omega or Enhanced in 9mm in my future.

You'll have to ask the OP (id64), I don't know. Was showing you guys the SAM's 9mm Enhanced model right there ($410 now) - correct me if I'm wrong, Magpul grips and the W.C mags were add-on's.
I have to tell you that I am really surprised by quality of this 9mm 1911! I just love the clean look without any billboards and stupid warnings. Machining is really good, fit - just amazing. Came only with one 9 rounder, but I had some 10 round Wilson Combat mags. Range test tomorrow
I completely stripped it to perform usual "tune up", but really - was nothing to do. Everything is smooth and nice

That's a great question. With so many people talking about tuning/tweeking 1911's it would it make sense for a seller to offer the option of buying the gun "already done"?

Half the fun of owning a 1911 is learning who to tweak your pistol....we have lots of spare parts
Sure, easiest way would be to ream out the .40 chamber to 10mm. A member converted one previously, but I think he had a new barrel fit.
