Where in canada can i get a 10/22 trigger kit.

Hi People. So I purchased myself a nice Ruger 10/22. The thing is a tack driver. I can not say enough about the gun. But as you probably figured out, the factory trigger is a bit of a brick. I want to upgrade. But any distributers I find are US based and will not ship to Canada. Not sure why - maybe they are afraid that some one in the post office is going to go postal and throw the trigger assembly at another employee!

Anyways, I like the Kidd trigger kit but will consider others. Any Ideas where I can get.

Your best bet would be to send your TG to Brimstone in the States.

Got my Timney Trigger kit from Jerry at Mystic Precision. Costly, but beautiful piece of kit.

An aletrnative would be to sent you trigger pack to Dlask. Their $65.00 trigger job is pretty short and snappy.

I've got a couple volquartsen target hammers in my 10/22s , bought them from brownells and they really lighten up the trigger pull

Thanks Everyone for all your advice. I have decided to go with Cal and Thumper69 idea - Brimstone. I read a lot of excellent reviews on these guys. I decided to get there Tier 1 trigger job. It is their most expensive at $110 bucks. But it sounds very good. I almost went for the tier 2 for $70 but I did not want to take a chance that I would have wanted more. I am sure it would have probably been more than enough but when you are looking at new trigger groups at $200 and up. $110 does not seem like a hard pill to swallow for a quality trigger.

I just shipped my trigger out today. I will definitely keep you posted on what happens (how long it takes etc).

Tier 1 for the win! Wide shoe, default mag release, and a crispy 2.5lbs.

I've been able to get Clarke custom trigger sets for 10-22 from Brownells. Not recently, but I've had 3 of them.

David from Brimstone is such a standup guy that he actually took time out of his honeymoon in Alaska to reply to my emails, and even offered to call me. I told him to kick back and enjoy his time up north, but man oh man, just imagine if all business were run like his!

Hi Everyone,

Here is the update on my 10/22 trigger group.

My trigger arrived at Brimstone on Dec 23rd and by Dec 31 it was on it's way back. One week turn around! Excellent.

It arrived about a week later on my door step. And it looked great. I put it into the 10/22 and let me tell you it is unbelievable.

It is as crisp and clean as any other trigger. I had it set with no creep and very little slack. And it is flawless.

I have not had the time to get out shooting but I have dry fired it and it is fantastic. I will post when I get out in the next week or two for rabbits and let you know how it performs.
