Hey guys,

Does anyone know where to find a pre war, non-refurbed unfired/as-issued TT33? Looking for one to add to the ole Red Guns collection. Thanks for the help!

Doubt you'd find unfired prewar. I'm starting to collect all Tok models to go along with my red rifle collection. Sweet little pistols at a fair price. Just added a type 54 to the collection. Need pre and post war Russians, Polish, M57 etc. Good luck in your search.

No such gun exists. You might find a mint refurbished pre-war, or a worn unrefurb,but not a mint unrefurb prewar.

The Russians rebuilt and refurbished or upgraded every gun they had.

Original condition and returned Guns were then pawned off on the Warsaw Pact countries, or used to spread Marxist "change" through the underdeveloped world.

Unless you found one issued to a senior party member or something...but it's probably still in the family...
 
am not sure, but i bought a TT-33 post war from TradeeX and it looked brand new. not a scratch no nothing the blue was perfect and the holster wasn't even opened in many years. i didnt see many stamps on it, so not sure if it was refurb.
