Well I tried mine and found out it doesn't like the Czech surplus ammo I bought for it :( I fired 50 rounds out of it with 12 or so FTF .I recocked the hammer and the round would fire after another strike or two ...... and I had 5 - 6 hang fires as well where it would go off a split sec after the hammer went forward. When it did go bang it was shooting quite a bit left . Has anyone figured out a good way to move the rear sight ? The last round in the mag failed to chamber a few times as well.

pic of the surplus ammo that I bought 1400 rounds of and it doesn't like .

Mine runs the Czech ammo flawlessly but my ammo is steel case and dated 1953 . If your sights are centered on the slide the pistol it should be zeroed as long as the pistol is built right and the shooter has proper fundamentals , Should be be able to drift the sights in the dovetail with a brass punch if needed .

anyone with a sig p226 order one of these yet? do the sig grip panels fit the P762?

Yes they do.

I just received my P762 today and the original plastic grip panels from my Sig P226 MK25 fit. It's not a perfect fit (as the P762 frame seems to be longer at the front) but I did not have to modify them and the P762 functions perfectly fine. Installing the original Sig grips reduces the overall size of he P762 grip and for $300 I'm happy with how it turned out. I will try and post some pics later tonight or possibly tomorrow.

Took it out again today with the same Czech surplus ammo but this time i had issues unlike the first trip that went great :( Had some light primer strikes and had cases getting stuck in the chamber , Im guessing there was some built up lacquer in the chamber from the surplus ammo . My TT33 will run this ammo all day probably cause it has a looser chamber ? I will clean out the chamber and maybe give it a polish too and see how that works but i dont see any point to this pistol unless it can handle cheap surplus ammo , TT33s can so why not this?

^ FINALLY!

thanks for the pics! really shows how large the grip is on that thing!

does it feel weird to hold with the 226 grips on there?

Doesn't feel bad at all. It would be nice if there were more aggressive checkering on the frame. I may add some grip tape or something similar.
