you can get Russian unissued ones off the EE for more or less the same price, not that they are any better than the unissued Chinese rifles... but $300 is definitely gouging considering the general consensus is that the Russian ones are more collectable

I remember the sale..
Buy it with ammo, and the ammo was priced higher than other dealers.
Making the rifle still just under 150 bucks. The 75 bucks was just what he said on his website -
Used it to emphasize the current price hike.

And to think, Marstar would remind people of the +$75 SKS and some would still decline the offer.

Not many new unfired Chinese SKS on the market right now. This price is high, maybe $50 or so high. Not necessarily gouging, considering the condition they are in. More like a match to EE prices for a 'mint' used one.

Most Chinese type 56 were never arsenal refurbed, most the ones in country started out brand new and packed in Cosmo, so it's really nothing special, I do get the supply and demand, people are going to pay this watch and see
