Just curious if everyone replies to all the ads on the EE with "too much, no thanks I'll pass"

I just don't understand the need to comment on something you're not interested in.

Do you expect the price to be lowered because of it?

It works on KIJIJI and craigslist. Chances are they won't lower them but its worth throwing out there.

I agree.. ..If Marstar sells out of Chinese sks, that would mean that is wasn't over priced.

300$ for a SKS ?!?!

We can easily find 175$ SKS (chinese, russian name it) unless its a SKS-D, a SKS is a SKS to my eyes

Yes they were $200 a few months ago. Now the supply is gone so.......
Watched it happen to ammo many times. Buy when the price is good!

Check out Collectors Source. He has a $400 Chinese Type-56 + tax, shipping, and a barrel to bend over.

If someone wants to pay 300$ I don't really care, But I would not.

Either way i'm sure the SKS's are great and if you can afford them and are willing to spend 300$+ you are set.

There have been none on the retail market in quite a while. Just saying...
Wonder what Marstar paid for each one of these when they were originally purchased some time ago, versus the current posted price. That's none of our business though, naturally.
Although I'd wager the current profit margin on these significantly exceeds the usual 30-40% generally garnered in retail sales.

I don't think they are priced too high personally.

Don't confuse Chinese sks with crappy force matched refurbed Russian ones (which you can get here and there for $150, which is a very good deal). I don't think $300 is outragous, especially considering the Chinese one are hard to find.

I have three of these rifles, and they are finest shooting SKS's I have ever fired, very accurate (for an SKS); much better than any Russian.

The price, well, it is what is I guess....at $199 these would be a bargain.

Hey, great price, so now my as new, 59/66 yugo I bought over 2 years ago should go up by an equal percentage cause there are no more of them coming in either! Any takers!!

I see these going for at least this much (if you can find one). New Chinese sks's (non-refurbs) havn't been coming into the country for almost a year now.
