Cut a deer loose from a fence today.

Well, final report. He's a done deal.

Oh well, tried. Best anyone could do short of spending the next seven or eight cheques on vet care for a wild critter.

As a vet myself I take exception to that statement. Most of my colleagues will help injured wildlife out of their own pocket and not charge the person bringing it in.
Good for you for helping the critter, but try giving your local vet a call the next time, you will be surprised at their response.

Well, you did what you could. Better than dying all trussed up in the fence.

Was it "The Hangover" where they put the deer in the car with them and it came back to life?
