179$ for sks at Wholesale Sports

All of this special SKS are from the same source, they are not even close to the ones coming from Ukraine. They are SKSs alright but are smelter grade per Soviet army standards

There are some outstanding SKS's out there right now. Can't imagine they can get much better. The market is flooded and it sounds like its gonna get even more flooded in the short term. Certainly will be interesting to see what shows up. In any case, this can't last forever.

yup it will be (FLOODED) Until its suddenly a trickle .. and then only finding them on EE or in used gun sales.

and everyone will be saying things like.. GOsh i wish i bought 2 more @145-179$!

I was at the wholesale sport today in Edmonton and stopped by the gun counter.... It was tempting, very tempting....
I saw 5 beautiful sks rifles and 2 SVT-40. The sks were in amazing condition! Perfect stocks, excellent riflings. All matching numbers. No BBQ paint. They did look new.... I looked at 3 and the only reason I didn't walk away with at least one of them is cause I will need a place to live if I bring one more gun back to the house. MAN it was tempting....
Oh, they are selling them at $219.99 and they are marked as Premium grade SKS.

I've debated buying one just to have in the gun cabinet while we can get them reasonably priced still.
i think those stocks will dry up in the next year or two since it was a less common rifle.

pretty neat semi-auto to own though.

Get one for sure! This is my favorite gun so far. I took it coyote hunting last Sunday. If you don't get coyote with the bullet you will get him with the shockwave.... It was soooo much fun!

The SVT-40 makes the SKS look like a peice of junk, The SVT is hands down a more accuarate at longer ranges imo. When they go onsale I plan to buy a later production model.
