Just ran out of Federal large rifle 210 primers. Bought them locally for $6 per 100. I looked at Canada ammo and see the sell Dominion large rifle primers for $30/1000 plus $15 shipping. Any experience with these primers. Budget sells CCI PRIMER #200 LARGE RIFLE 1000/bx for $44 plus $11 shipping. Higgins also sells Wichester and CCI primers.

Is there much of a difference between Dominion, CCI, Winchester primers?

my preference is CCI, winchester, dominion but it depends on what your doing with the ammo you make with them. hunting, plinking, target?

for hunting and precision stuff i would opt for CCI bench rest
for plinking any of them works.

Winchester are some of the hottest primers. I have used thousands of CCI 250 and 450 primers with excellent results. Winchester and CCI are typically harder than Federal.

I have always had good luck with CCI primers. Mind you they seem hard to find. I was lucky and managed to pick up a brick of CCI BR2. For a while there i thought they might be extinct lol. All my reloads are set off by CCI primers except my 7mm-08.. it really likes Rem 9 1/2. Lot to Lot i have always seen better consistency with CCI

Cheers
Josh

I will be plinking and hunting with the ammo. I think I'll try the CCI primers. Cabelas may have them locally.
