Ruger Gunsite Scout in 5.56 NATO coming soon!

It has a Leupold VXII 6-18X
A 3 inch group @ 100m with Irons is pretty good out of any gun.

Well imo it all depends on ammo, you can have a gun shoot 4-5 moa with some ammo and 1 moa with the other. You can't really say a gun as crappy accuracy unless you tryd diffrent bullet weight, bullet type and brand.

On another note yes it's more complicated to make a good solide feeling action with a double stack mag; so I suspect that ruger were not able to make there m77 action and mini 14 mag work. But to me the fact that is proprietary mag would make me very weary of uying this gun if I was in the market for such a thing.

Not very accurate, I have A couple friends who have The 308 version at the club… they were getting 3 inch groups at 100 meters, not quite what you would expect out of a bolt gun.
Awesome looking gun though…

I shot my buddy's Scout rifle with a 3-9X scope. I put 3 rounds of Federal FMJ into .6" at 100 yards. No complaints at all.

Sure
Why?

Fit and finish and accuracy. Had a couple guys wanting to sell me their MVP's so they could get something better after they had tried them. I have shot and handled them side by side and the Mossberg shot worse and felt like a tinker toy by comparison. My opinion only of course. YMMV.

We just found out a few days ago that these were being made and today we found out that we would be receiving some in 15-20 days.
Here is what we were allotted:

Stainless/Laminated RH (5) $1099
Black/Laminated RH (3) $1049
Black/Laminated LH (1) $1079

How long until there is one in 7.62 x 39?

Only problem with the .223/5.56 is you can't get the 5 round mags. And the mags for the .308 are $70-80 dollars for frick sakes. Hate that long boxy mag hanging down the bottom of an otherwise sweet carbine.
