Jard semi , 3wks away.

I know I was one of them 0_o , live and learn? I don't think its a bad gun at all, just expensive for what it is (to me). I bought it when I sold my XCR.
I'm not knocking the keltec,I bought one and modded it out. It was a fun gun for sure, and really fast on the trigger. My point was that they should sell, for that much, they are competing for the lower end market.Like I said ,in the middle . And everything black is overpriced here.

I'd worry about a manufacturer who makes a run of firearms in a new calibre, twenty at a time for export.
They're doing the second run now, I guess that's all extreme would commit too, kind of a test I guess. I believe Jard was a trigger and barrel manufacturer, who are just recently getting into rifle manufacturing. If it does well ,I'm sure it will ramp up quickly.

Ugly as sin IMO. But if its quality, and reliable, I could see one in my collection. Might be a fun plinker.
I do see potential in it for making it look good.
I take it there's no chance of putting a folding stock on this rifle?
Honestly, it dosent have me all that excited. What we need more of is military grade black rifles. All I see is another jr, Kel-Tec, quality of firearm. It may very well be a lot better than those. But is it up to the same standard as AR-15, ACR, PE90, Tavor?

I don't know what it's going to be like, but is there anyone offering a .223,.204,and the potential for a 308,300 blackout,300 magnum,3006, 50 bmg ,all semi auto,ar stocks, forends ,good trigger groups( that they make)they turn there own barrels, and there eager to go. There looking for input,so who knows ,maybe a good thing. Nobody else is stepping up.

Do you know if they plan on making it modular in anyway, if they do, tons of more people would be lining up.

From what I was told today, buttstocks and trigger groups are the only thing you can change. There are 2 forends and rails that are made by Jard ,nothing else will fit. They'll probably have more options if the rifle does well. If you look on their website ,the forend that comes on the J16 ,will be on this J48, you can get a full top rail ,and rails for the sides.

Is the J19 forend one of the forends they plan to offer for it? If so, that would greatly improve the looks and probably solve most people's "ugly-issues" with it. Not to mention it would offer a lot more real-estate for accessories with the quad-rail...

Has Canada Ammo ever divulged their expectations of the new t97 they had been working on? Or are we still left guessing as to what the "updates" will be?

If that fails to impress, this could be a real consideration for a bush-legal .223 semi with AR mags.

Or does someone just need to design a pistol that takes mags that'll fit into the mini 14 so that we can get some 10-round mags for that?

This thing looks like a home-brew product made by some guy on his vertical mill in his garage. It should not even approach anywhere near $1k IMO.

They are working on getting the hmr and j 19, but who knows how long that'll take. They put the buffer so low , for optic mounting purposes, they can move it up a little . They make there own rails and forends , so they could make more designs, depending on what's desired. But would have to be in a order of 10 or more. The forearm is small on the j48 at 1 1/2 by 1 1/2.. Gonna need some rails. The rifles on the way here have no rails on the forarm bit will be available from Jard soon , as they are being sent out for anodizing. Full top rail ,diff lengths for sides and bottom. They are some kinda tlok rails. Said that after much testing the rifle , it was reliable , but couldn't get any info in accuracy. (Asked multiple times but never got a answer).i think these first 20 is a test run, changes will be made , based on the sales of the first run. Sooo , who's gonna go first ... Lol
