Sig Sauer P320 New Unboxing

What are the differences between the 2022 and the 320 (other than one is hammer, other is striker)? I'm little confused with the Sig polymer pistols, as I've never paid attention to them. 2022's seem to be going pretty cheap at $499-539. Can't find a CDN price on the 320... only see it priced in a package with a Sig AR15.

The Sig 2022 was Sigs first Polymer Hammer fired gun. It’s DA/SA and it’s got ok reviews. The Sig P250 was the beginning for Sig into the modular design. The P250 is a sweet DAO gun. The P320 is Sigs first striker fired gun. It’s completely modular and the fire control group is the gun. P250 frames, holsters and mags will work on a P320 but that’s where the similarities stop. SFRC has them. Als has them. They're out there. Cost runs anywhere from 650 to 850.

I only see positive reviews on the Sig 2022. The $499 sale price with 106mm barrels was an unbelievable deal. Sadly, I missed it. I might buy one at $539, but hopefully they blow them out again at $499 (these are around $429 in the US). I can see that not everyone loves the DA/SA hammer fired pistols and the striker fired 320 is a good option that competes vs Glock/S&W.

We are running a Christmas Special on the Sig 2022 Pistol in 9mm. There is only 10 coming, so Until Dec 19th all Pre-Order pistols will be only $499.95 ($539.95 after the 19th).

I see the 320 sold out at SFRC at $759. It appears that they are going after the polymer market hard and I'm certain this is another great Sig pistol.

I agree! I think the 2022 looks nice. I was just stating where Sig ended up with the P320.

Honestly...I know it's been done before....but I find the glock line-up a little confusing...I'll have to do more research before I purchase my first...although the p320 might save me the trouble....I'm already a sig fan...lol

Al Flaherty's had them last week for $669. Strangely, they don't have them on their site at all now (except for the combo with the AR). Not even showing as "out of stock". I handled the P320 from one of the combo kits. It had a nice trigger with a very positive reset.

Im pretty sure everyone is sold out of Sig Sauer P320s

Just picked one up in 9mm . Wondering if I should keep my Glock 17 , guess I'll see how it does on the range .

I have both the G17, and it's my go -to pistol for CQB matches and perfect for training newbies and clients. I rock with that baby. Then along comes the P320 and I had to have one. Now I have both. I prefer the trigger of the P320 even if my G17 has a 3.5 lb disconnector. But I still love both of them.

Now, lately I've been rocking holsters from Safariland made for the P250... have a look:

That's a 6378 attached with a QLS / MLS on the Super FLC vest in Coyote Brown. I since sold the black 6378 and have a 6354 thigh rig in FDE colour because I did not have the heart to Krylon Tan the black holster.

Now the 6354 holster is screwed on to a QLS 19 and QLS 22 system on my vest as well as my battle belt and also my plate carrier.... It's all good fun! :)

I do have to add, this P320 is also one of my teaching tools especially for the uniformed CAF members who shoot our matches with the ORA at Base Borden on Langemark Range. And for those of you stuck on the P226 love, I also own one of them and I love it too.... :D

Cheers and keep helping them noobs out there!!

Congrats! I'll have to look up p250 holsters!

Took mine out today for the first time. I'm amazed at the accuracy of the gun - it makes me look like a much better shooter than I am.

I think my favourite part of this firearm is the ease of cleaning. Because the fire control assembly comes right out - it's easy to get every bit of the gun clean quite quickly.

The only downside is the frame seems to be a little easy to scratch - but hopefully this modularity concept catches on and the parts become easier to find.
