The only way to get one right now is to buy a restricted and have it re barreled, or find one on the EE that has already had the work done.

Buy one used, and spend $800 on a non-restricted conversion from Herron Arms. You can probably find ACRs for about $2200 (just guessing), so $3000 for a non-restricted.

Only 50, I'm a ####ty shot. I started top right and was moving to bottom left, in theory I should be 1/2 an inch low to be set for 100. I'm a fair weather shooter, with ####ty old man vision.

I'm pretty sure the Phoenix indoor range is only 40 yards.

There's a NR DMR version supposed to be hitting our shores in the new year, but its going to be heavy because of the PRS stock and heavier bbl. contour. For a walking rifle I'd go ahead and pick up a used restricted copy and send it to Herron to be rebarreled. A NR ACR is definitely on my want list in the future. Good luck with your search!

Installation is cheap as it is a quick change system that really requires no skill to swap barrels. It is having a barrel manufactured for your rifle that costs the money

This is 100 yards, the target on the left is my standard hornady 75 grain bthp load for this rifle, the right target is a different kind of powder that didn't work as well.
It's surprisingly accurate, consistently, for a piston rifle.
Herron arms is the only place to go for a nonrestricted acr in my opinion. Bartlein or krieger blanks go a long way to making an accurate acr.
