PGW coyote

Yeah the glass is just as good. The question remains how so many people here can measure nanometers of glass quality between scopes. Out of the 3 guys at the range the other day no one could see any difference in glass quality between the Razor Gen II and the S&B PM II. They (Gen II) haven't been out very long and not very many people have them North of the border yet. If you don't trust my opinion or the other 3 guys on the range with me then have a read here.

For the last 8 - 10 months or so the Gen II Razor has been proving itself in the PRS. Lots of high praise for this scope. I own a couple of PM II's along with a NXS and a few other good scopes so I do appreciate good quality scopes.

I have not yet looked through the new Razor however I am going to give one every opportunity in the near future. There is just too much good feedback on these scopes to ignore.

I am nor arguing rifles here, in fact a PGW Coyote is a possible buy for me in 2015, if it's the case, a S&B scope will top it ... JP.

No i didnt but i will be the first one to tell if they are better, i will have access to one next summer since one of my shooting partner have one in order ( 3X18X50 FFP) and i will spend time with one... JP.

Only your overinflated ego would let you believe that you "will be the first to tell if they are better". Some of us have had both for a while now. I'm not a Vortex guy but can say from actual experience that the GenII (4.5-27) is a great scope.

WTF does this have to do with the PGW Coyote anyway?

So if you used both can you compared them i would like to know and if one someone ask what a good glass to mount on their PGW, i dont think recomending a S&B is bad advice... JP.

I dont think this thread is the right place to make comparisons between scope brands. I will agree with you that an S&B is never a bad recommendation.
 
Can someone post some average groups on these rifles up? the 308 and possibly the 338 one too.
 
This is with the folder Coyote I won at the western canada match in sask. First time out with the folder at 650 yards at the gravel pits with a 50x scope on it I got the golf ball I set up within 4 shots. I don't like posting loads but it was on the target, use at your own risk.

This is the other Coyote I own. It is a Titanium Coyote Action with a stock PGW 27.5 inch barrel and is chambered in 308, which is the category I shoot in. I am taking it to Phoenix for the Berger Southwest Nationals and I know it will do well in the competition out to a 1000 yards. The scope has changed though it has a Nightforce competition 55 on it now. I could not make weight with the 50 Schmidt and Bender. Let's just say accuracy is not a problem. The problem is all behind the trigger when there is one.

Received my COYOTE from cargo today as planes are finally flying into town after blizzard central. HAHAHA. I'm beyond happy once again with a PGW product such as this 308 as it's rock solid & a beauty. Hopefully this coming weekend it isn't -40 or -50 and I can get out shooting. Thanks to Ross & PGW crew for this. HAPPY NEW YR my fellow CGNer's. Cheers,
