204 ruger 1:10 twist

Does anyone know of a .204 that comes with a 1:10 twist?
My father in law is looking for a 204 but from what I am reading it often wont stabilize 40gr pills without the 1:10
Everything I am seeing is 1:12.

I read that to but my 1:12 savage stabilizes 40 gr vmax quite well.

Virtually all factory barrels for the .204 Ruger will come in 1 in 12. The Thompsons might now actually be available in 1 in 10, but when they first came out in or about 2011, it was apparently a mistake on their website.

I shoot a 1 in 10 Pac-Nor custom barrel in .204, and it will stabilize everything from 32 gr right up to 50 gr. IMHO, it is probably the best rifling twist choice for the .204 if you can get it.

I don't know if it is in his budget but you can order a Cooper with a 10 twist barrel. I don't know if he still does but Clay had one at Prophet River. I ordered one with a 10 twist and a few other options and have been told it should be here early in the New Year. I handled the one Clay had and the test target was shot with 32gr Vmaxs I believe. It was quite an impressive little clover leaf group.

45gr Hornady SP and 40gr Berger HP are both shorter than the 40gr Vmax. There are options for a 1 in 12
