Cooper Rifles

I've got a classic 22 in .223 rem! The class stock is slim and a dream to carry! Well balance and shoots light crazy with 52 gr. Bergers!! (5/8"@200 yards)

Like dogleg said you spend a little more but when you get the rifle home
And install scope you're all done.....nothing else to do With it but shoot!!

Will I buy or recommend one again you bet....if you am afford the $2200+ price tag they are the best bang for your buck!!!
 
Thanks for all the responses so far. I'm basically getting the impression that the finish on the Montana's are not that great and for the price not the greatest deal. So I'm trying to rethink a little. I am a Remington guy, and I'm thinking I want something for extreme weather. Something I can take in the rain or snow in the mountains and not have to over worry about. Now having said I like Remington, I have looked at the XCRII but I am less then impressed with the Hogue stock, have yet to see it in person though, but I have heard its no Bell and Carlson and that it is actually plastic and not a fiberglass stock. I like it other then the stock. But to buy that and a new stock I am just getting into a price range where I can get a more expensive rifle. I am not a Winchester fan, never have been, probably never will be. So I'm still thinking of Cooper. I'd prefer a synthetic stock but not opposed to a wood stock. All my current firearms have wood stocks. So my options now are Cooper and maybe a Kimber Montana.... any thoughts. How do the Cooper stocks hold up to wear and tear, thoughts on the Kimber Montana's.

The main difference between the Custom Classic and the Classic is that the Custom Classic has high a gloss blue finish, fancy checkering, ebony forend and a cheek piece.
Fit, finish, workmanship, quality of materials and accuracy is superb. Now don't let anyone tell you that they are light or well balanced, they are not. This is a firearm for people who don't mind the extra weight. Other firearms that are of equal quality as the Cooper is the Sauer 202, Blaser, Mauser. No comment on the Montana rifle...........

So how come your or Tyler haven't had a Montana in the stable?
