My very first KA-BOOM

Am I reading it correctly? Reloaded .22 WMR? I have not used any CCI .22 WMR. But your ammo looks like a factory load, correct me if I am wrong. And I have not seen
anybody reloading .22 WMR so as any .22 rimfire in large quantities. Plus the amount of work required is not as easy as a centerfire round.

Second, the complaint was fail to fire, probably due to an off center firing pin strike.

I contacted the manufacture directly and they sent me some replacement parts.

Vault has a poor customer attitude.

Maybe a different pistol? But I thought the PMR 30 was the only restricted keltec handgun. Maybe he means the PLR16 or has a prohib license?

Curious also.
 
It was not a Keltec, but Vault was the distributor. I was not impressed.

Most of my experience with dealers , distributors and manufactures has been very good. Vault was just trying to kill the warranty claim with a bogus allegation about reloads and the warranty.

I'm wondering the same; it's as though everyone elected to miss that question you raised.
(Although I've likely done the same in the past as well )

That's one heck of an allegation from that company. Shellholders in 22 LR are hard enough to find. IIRC to get a shellholder in 22 WRM one would most likely need to modify a 25 ACP shellholder extensively to make it work with the 22 magnum. Seems like a outrageously preposterous suggestion to me!

Nope.

The original poster is bfiles; he made no mention of home loads.

Somebody made a joke about re-loaded ammo, because we all know that's un-likely for a rim fire cartridge.

Ganderite offered his experience with the same distributor dismissing a warranty claim, on a different gun, based on home loads.
 
Loud and Clear! I hope manufacturers treats every customer with utmost level of respect in owning to the defects of their products. I've read in other forums that we, CANUCKS belongs to the lower level of importance with respect to the WARRANTY claims. So far, GSG has the best after-sales support. I hope this will someday be the benchmark of the industry.
