Boxing week sale at Canadian Tire, 6" digital caliper for $12.

It's decent quality/precision/accuracy; but the battery life sux, so take the battery out when you aren't using it.

If they are out, get a raincheck.

Kannuck Buck won't be getting any more of my kerch$ng until they clear up their invisible ink
return warranty policy.
Mastercrap chit is suppose to be warrantied for life.
Not life of the ink on their receipts.
Nothing butt fraud as far as I'm concerned.

I challenged them on this secret policy and they gave in and replaced my item. It took a call to head office.

I purchased Hornady dial calipers for $35 USD. I am hoping they are usable.

I bought a cheap digital set -Franklin? Broke almost immediately.

I have a Mitutoyu Digital, and a very old Starrett that has neither dial nor digital readout. [This one is gathering dust, these days, lol]

My eyes really hate looking at those fine graduations.

My Vernier 1" Micrometer is a Westward 6JR86 digital, and reads to 5/100,000"

Regards, Dave

When it comes to measuring instruments decent means real money, and CTC stuff ain't it. I'd rather wait for the real deal, used on Kijiji if I had to, than spring for the CTC sale. But everyone has their own value point and no one can argue with another man's budget.

Mitu's are top notch, however I have been using the cheap on sale C-tire one for 3 years now. It has always been repeatable for my reloading, the battery life is poor, but at that price who cares buy extra batteries. When I first got it I compared it to a Mitu and it was spot on. I doubt it's very durable but since it does not leave the bench it's not an issue for me.

Ive broken a few of their screwdrivers and no problems getting new ones. I just bring it in to the customer service desk and they tell me to go get a new one of the shelf. Done and done.

Yep as long as it does not have a motor.
I brought back a stapler in 100 pieces one time and no questions asked.
