I bought mine thru Epps a few years back when they first came to Canada. Did not know they were being made again ?
The takedown looks crazy!
Only difference between the charger and the dlask 10/22 is barrel length, barrel quality, longer stock and classification.
The big bonus other than group sizes for the dlask build is its NR and unlimited ammo cap.
I really see no point in buying a 10/22 that is restricted and limited to 10 rounds. Just buy a proper pistol.
Im guessing because of this new production, we will soon see a 10 round limit on all 10/22s soon.

Yes, but because magazines stopped being marketed for them here since the previous Chargers all but disappeared from the Canadian market, we can legally own 25-round Butler Creek and 110 round GSG drum mags. That WILL change if the Charger makes a return to Canada and packaging for 10/22 magazines starts to include listing the Ruger Charger as compatible. It's just a matter of time before the RCMP move to prohibit anything bigger than 10 rounds without being pinned since it could be used in a restricted firearm, which is exactly what the Ruger Charger pistol is.

Law says pistols are a 10 round limit. So you could legally use pinned bx25 mags

Don't get me wrong - I'm happy for you (if not a bit jealous).
However I stand my my statement that by reintroducing the Charger, the gun will get renewed attention by the RCMP who will be forced to decide to either prohibit higher capacity magazines for ALL 10/22-based firearms, or else prohibit the pistol since it might be easier than trying to rein in millions of high cap magazines.
I just signed a petition at my LGS on Saturday to eliminate the stupid magazine restrictions. Let's hope that gains some traction.

Your statement is not entirely true.
Magazines designed and manufactured for a pistol are limited to 10 rounds, which ironically is why Ruger BX-25 mags are already capped at 10. BTW, I've got bad news for you if you have a 25 round one because they have been prohibited for a couple months now. Even if you use it in a rifle only, it must be pinned.

You are incorrect. The designation of the mag is stipulated by the manufacturer... since the BC-25 mag is designated for the 10/22 rifle it is a rifle mag, regardless of what it is used in... therefore it can (and is) used in Charger pistols with a full 25 round load... and does NOT require pinning.
