I see the charger pistol is back in production. Does anyone know if they will be available in Canada ? They come with a 15 rd mag that would be a problem. Maybe we could get one without the mag.
This sucks. If these make it Canada, say goodbye to any 10/22 magazines over 10 rounds.
They been in Canada for years.
I have two Charger pistols and LEGALLY use BC-25 mags in them... this is one of the big benefits of the Charger.... there is a small group of Charger shooters at our club and we have alot of fun with these pistols.
thankfully the new charger magwell has widget that prevents backwards compatibility with earlier 25+ rd 10/22 mags.

Law says pistols are a 10 round limit. So you could legally use pinned bx25 mags
RCMP Special Bulletin for Businesses No. 72 said:Example 2*: The Ruger BX-25 magazine, chambered for 22 LR calibre, is designed and manufactured for use in the Ruger SR22 rifle, the 10/22 family of rifles/carbines and the 22 Charger handgun. As a result, this magazine is a prohibited device unless modified so its capacity is 10 cartridges or less.
