huh, what's the rough grinded area near the lug cut of the feed ramp? Dilligafs is definitely smoother and I just checked my ar (Noveske) and it looks like his.

Yeah. I'm feeling like a got a dud, and i don't have the tools to fix it nor should I have to considering its a new rifle from a reputable company. I've already contacted the dealer I bought it from. Hopefully irunguns takes care of me.
Your barrel extension feed ramps looks like they were dremeled out with a ball shaped bit. They look like the start off ok, then belly out and then get narrow to the back of the lug as opposed to the clean taper to the back as in Dilligaf's pic.
I just checked both my 14.5 Colt uppers. One is a SOCOM profile barrel, the other is Gov.
BOTH have those polish/grind marks exactly as shown in your pics richmyster.
Both feed with zero issues.
I think Colt polishes the edges of the insides of the ramps. Noveske and DD do the same, they just polish the entire ramp. Colt's does look a bit rougher.
Wondering if the mags are seating with sufficient depth.

Lols according to your post in that cleaning thread it would be out of character for you to do so. But I can post my dirty noveske if it makes you feel better.

I'd like to, but I feel as if they won't refund seeing as I've had it for 4 months already. So Im going to see what my options are. I definitely don't want this rifle though. Something is definitely funky.
My Tavor did the same thing with the sunk-in bullet today. With the Norinco .223 after shooting the first 5 or so rounds from the crate with a mag the Tavor came with. Switched to a different mag (LAR-15) and did not have a problem with about 100 more rounds.
Yes, and none of the failures other have experienced would cause failure to feed. Focus man, i understand you have a hard-on for Norinco ammo hate but dont blame it on everything.
the 55gr FMJ stuff Norinco sells is designed to mimic XM193. 55gr traveling at 3200fps give or take. Unless the bullet seat depth is way off or the brass is physically deformed i cant see how it would case failure to feed.

I can't remember what it looked like now that the pics are gone but was the bullet slipping past the feed ramp and hitting the barrel?
According to the link misanthropist posted all colts seem to be cut like that, but it does leave room for error. Also does it jam up in that way from both sides or just the one?

By "other" I guess you mean "others", and a number of people have seen bullet set back which causes failures to feed. Try cycling an empty casing from a mag.
