Hi
Has anyone had any experience with this rifle.
It has a 20" medium/heavy barrel.
I am basically wanting an ar with a varmint type set-up.
This rig appeals to me.
Can anyone help or share there expertise on this rifle.
Basically shooting 100yds. 200max.
Thanks

Hi, I bought one and it is ok in stock form. Stock trigger was poor. Decent fit and finish. Put in a Giessele trigger, Magpul Bad Lever, and oversize charging handle, and it is now quite good. Not as accurate as my JP Enterprises JP-15, but it's only a third the price. Also had a Daniel Defense M4, and would say the DD is a better quality rifle but not by a lot. If it's in your price range, then would recommend. I got mine on sale and it does exactly what I intended it for, cheaper back up AR for the range, plinking and practicing, and actually really like the Skeleton stock, so left that alone. I'm very happy with mine.

I've had mine for almost a year now and put 1300 rounds of surplus 5.56 through it. I think its a great value for the money and I too really like the ARFX stock. I plan to change the trigger to a Geissele SD-E or SD3G. Would I buy one again? Yes I would.

I have a WW-15 VEX (Varmint Ezterminator) and it's been great. No stoppages, awesome accuracy even with factory ammo and even better (sub-MOA) with careful handloads. Made at the former Bushmaster plant by many of the original team. Like the other posters above, I cleaned up the trigger and replaced the stock.

Keep in mind that the VEX is technically chambered in .223 Rem though their technical department has published a memo that they have found it's safe to use 5.56 NATO. I load to .223 Rem limits myself.

Great gun, especially for the money!

I own one too. As the others have said it's an accurate, well built AR. As with the other fellows I swapped the trigger out for a timney. You will not be able to mount rails and tacticool stuff on the hand guard. There isn't anywhere to mount them. All it has is a stud for a sling or harris type bipod.

Hi
Thanks for all your input.
Another scenerio has come up.
Out of these two.
Which would you recommend.
The Windham as mentioned, or the DPMS 24 inch Special Varmint model?
Thanks
