Norinco CQ-A receiver

Once it's painted ( rattle can ) it works awesome! You can even win a CQB competition and people will not believe it's a Norinco... ;)

hahaha

I have one for the fun and price. Dropped a FA quality bolt in there and it has been flawless in the last 2 years. 10.5" I use it only for 100 meters and less.

He's not joking about winning the CQB matches with a Nork! A few years back we had some young 20-somethings rock our CQB matches with them! Fast mag changes, confident drills and rifle handling wins the matches. :)

It's not always the hardware, but the shooters! These young guys are also great pistol shots. I won't divulge how they train for the matches!

As goofy as it sounds, I've had to take the "Holy Hammer of Stoppage" to some AR's in the past. Never with a Norinco (yet) :nest:

Brother Maynard: Break out the Holy Hammer of Stoppage!

And I've seen lots and lots of stoppages at my CQB clinics. That's where I see what works and what works well and what hiccups under stress! Surprise, surprise!

Cheers and keep helping them nooobs out there!

You guys keep talking about the Norc CQ-A's and I'm gonna have to buy one! Sure wish they'd go NR, though...plinking at a gravel pit would be a lot more fun than structured shooting at a range.

Barney.
Just saw the pic of you and Tim.
Tell him Dave Galant from the QYRang's says hi.
Been missing the competitions at Cannaught for past several years.

Buy the Norc - join Vic F&G, take the Norc down to the multi-purpose range, set up a couple of targets, and a take a couple of 'barricades', move around, behind and beside the barricades while shooting at the targets, find out how hard that sh*t really is.
