P226 owners...favorite grips?

I tried the rosewood grips, but they were way to thick. Absolutely beautiful, but not practical. Hogue G10 all the way. My 226 is an extreme model.

I have two sets of Hogue G10s for P226. Oddly, the piranha set I have are slightly larger(longer, ie thicker backstrap area) than the chain-link by a about 1.5mm. Both are slimmer than the standard black grips.

I've tried the stock polymer, E2, G10 and aluminum grips. I like the factory aluminum the best. E2 was nice with no seam up the back and the smaller grip was helpful for the first double action pull, but for SA shooting (pretty much the only way i shoot it) the standard grips size works better for me. Nothing wrong with G10 and it is arguably better for wet and cold, but the aluminum feels and handles the best for my uses.

Digital Camo. And no, you can't get them. I called Sig and asked. It was a promo deal a while back that was a riffle and the pistol as a set.

I haven't tried many different ones but I use the hogue wrparoind ones with finger grooves and they serve me well

Another vote for hogue g10 pirahnas in black(no white circles). Way better looking than e2's if that matters to you. E2's, g10's, and aluminums are all considered the slimmest, with e2's and g10's having the best grip hold(in my opinion anyway).

E2's are a pita to take on and off and are rumoured to loosen when they've been removed/replaced many times; never had that problem but they weren't on mine for very long.

Another plus for g10's and aluminum's is no parts required to change out grips.
