chamber at 7 o'clock does seem a bit odd to me also. Hope it's not what it looks like. And if it is, how would that ever happen?

What crack? The top from 1 o'clock to 3 is the extractor groove. The ridge at 7 is also supposed to be there, not sure what it is though. They seem to all have that.

Not an expert, but pretty sure those look far too clean to be "cracks". Probably supposed to be there, but like I said before, never really seen one before.

It is not cracked, It has to do with the shape of the bolt.

My butt has a crack in it, so i sent it back! Marstar has some nice SVT's. The one I got from them has a mirror like bore and a near mint AVT stock. I was really impressed with mine.
