.....

It is not cracked, It has to do with the shape of the bolt.

Chamber1.jpg

Forgive me, but isn't this chamber has a case stuck in there?

It certainly appears that way.....
op, you might want to look into that before going to the range.

I bet you're regretting posting it in the first place LOL. Anyway, looks like a very nice svt there. Marstar seems to do it right.

Just bought one from wholesale sports online. Little pissed they failed to ship with a magazine. But the are mailing me one asap now. Mine is a 1942 tula. Also I found a place to buy spare mags. $90 a pop but I think its worth it and going to buy another.

Here are a few photos of my "new" 1942 SVT40. Big thumbs up to Marstar.

And here is the ammo pouch, oiler and tool set. Very glad to see the gas regulator tool and sight adjustment tool.

I tried to take some photos of the bore but nothing turned out,

Looks good, Now clean the hell outta it, Learn to strip down the bolt down completely. Shoot it and figure out what your gas setting is good at. Hot water and break cleaner method like on an sks alone won't work on the bolt just to let you know, You will have to strip it down so It can dry. Its narrow in there and traps water and solvents, Keep that in mind when cleaning corrosive out of it. Have fun the SVT is great firearm for the price, Allot of work cleaning tho. Well worth it!

At $90 this is obviously a repro mag. You will have fun tweeking that mag for it to work properly. I still have to relocate the lugs on mine for the mag to sit high enough in the mag well for the bullets to feed.

Anyway, have fun with your SVT-40... they are a "hoot to shoot" !!!

Ya, don't buy parts. Get another gun. You could even part out the other parts and you will actually come out ahead.
