I recently inherited a model 94 pre 64 winchester 30-30
It's serial number is 1439369, I would like to know it's manufacturing
Date is and it's value, along with any other information that would help :)

It's got minor pitting, bluing is still nice, no cracks, clean bore.
All round great gun for it's age..

I'm aware that it's dated between 1943 and 1948, I'm seeking professional advice within regards to it's precise manufacturing date... I've done a lot of online research and I cannot find any information what's so ever with a serial number remotely close to mine..
Is mine rare? What's it's worth? I'm intelligent, but certainly not a gun specialist so I'm seeking help :)

As you say, Winchester tells you it was made between 1943 and 1948. Exactly which of those years it was made will have no effect on its value.
And no, it is not rare.
The "some pitting," will likely bring the value down, certainly under 500, but more information and pictures are needed to come up with an accurate evaluation figure.

You can find the date of manufacture under the handguard. Also given your serial number I would date it close to 1946-47. Try getting info from the Cody museum, they may be able to provide a letter also. h ttp://centerofthewest.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/2014_Winchester_SN-list.pdf
Does it have the long hand guard, about 1 3/4" past the barrel band, also look to see if barrel bands are flat, these were war time production.
All information is from my own research and may be flawed:redface:

Seeing as the Winchester Model 94 was the first commercial rifle to sell over 7,000,000 units, no, it is not particularly rare. Sounds like it is in fairly ordinary condition too.

I used these guys for some parts and info etc on my pre-64/Mod 94.

They have a service (costs you of course) to value your rifle. They also have a "self-help" version that will give you a kinda/sorta value (of course, someone else will be more critical of condition etc in most cases).

They are US based, But worth a look.
