Anyone change the brake on their XCR-M?

The Lantac looks good (none in stock in Canada that I can find). YHM makes a slanted one that has been getting good reviews as well and is a little cheaper than the Lantac. I have no real world experience with either so I can't comment on them.

I replaced mine with a PWS PRC... ###y muzzle device, I haven't fired it yet (GTA range issues) so can't comment on how well it works

Love-hate relationship is a good way of putting it. I love the way it looks and I believe that it really tames the recoil, but it is loud. I agree, the magical "quiet brake" is probably not out there.

I find it works well as a brake..just looking for something different.

I made the mistake of shooting mine with no hearing protection when I first got it. WOW that was a mistake. I changed it to a Troy linear compensator and it is like a "rifle" now. I had to change, as this is a hunting gun which gives me no chance to wear ear plugs. The muzzle flash will be the least of the wild boars problem. LOL

Is there a significant increase ion muzzle flash compared to the OEM brake?
