Take a step back into the Prohibition Era where gangs were struggling for control of the organized crime in Chicago! What better way to spend Valentine's DAY, than to take care of gangsters in a fashion that would make Elliot Ness smile (we promise you will be finished in time for you to spend Valentine's EVENING with your significant other).

Registration for our Saturday February 14th, 2015 2-Gun (rifle & handgun) Match is officially open. All registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Spots are limited so secure a spot as quickly as you can. All registration fees are non-refundable and we will run rain or shine but you may assign your registration to another shooter provided we are given advanced notice.

This is a 2-gun match (rifle and handgun) and this year we will be doing something a little different - some of the stages will be indoors and some will be outdoors; this will allow us to accommodate more shooters as we will be able to run an indoor squad and an outdoor squad simultaneously. Squad sizes will be limited to 7 and you will be shooting for 2 hours. There will be lots of prizes raffled off including an NEA AR-15 barrel and some muzzle brakes and as always, some cool swag/gear from Dean at Select Shooting Supplies.

If you would like to register, please email us at galt3gun@rogers.com and let us know your squad time preference (listing more than one may increase your likelihood of getting a spot) as well as your division. ANY REGISTRATION REQUESTS MISSING THIS INFORMATION WILL NOT SECURE A SPOT!

You will receive an email response from us letting you know if you have secured a spot and providing you with the payment details (or your position on the wait list).

Date: Saturday FEBRUARY 14th, 2015
Location: The Galt Sportsmens Club
Squad times: 9am, 11:30am, 2pm
Cost: $65, EMT only (details will be emailed to those who secure a spot)
Requirements: holster qualification (Black badge, CDP, or similar)
Stages: 4 in total, details to follow
Scoring: Rules and divisions located here. We will be using Practiscore to compile results

And..... You get to spend half or this years match indoors..... Soooo...... Yeah.

Of course, indoors isn't exactly all that warm anymore. But, your snot will run clean!
 
One man's warmish is another man's relatively toasty...may be relative to the amount of said man's insulation of which I have more :D

Regardless, smart shooters will dress in layers.
 
In this weather, there is no place i'd rather be then indoors at Galt. What a fantastic range (clean,warm and outstanding ventilation)
 
Well we've had a small change in plans, the entire match will be shot outdoors...this means no one will have to struggle over attire since you will only need things that keep you warm :d !

Xylotek Solutions Inc. is also sponsoring the match and NEA is ponying up a 7.62X39 upper that will go to one lucky shooter!

Just ordered a new lower last week to start a 7.62 AR build. That upper would work nice.
