243 bolt sporter 1.5-7 safari handy for calling sets/walking

I have 2 243s that I like for field guns. Some of our shots are long. The 243 has more jam at 400+ than the 22 Center fires. When calling I use a 223. When I think they will be very close I use a 22 hornet, not usually enough energy for coyotes but fine if real close.
