Quality of newer Para's?

I seem to recall that warrenty repairs for Para's are on par with getting teeth pulled out. This alone would scare me away from buying a Para. Well that and the fact since they have moved to the States, I have read nothing but bad reviews about them.

I have a Canadian made version in single stack .45 and I love it. I had some issues with the mag release but I swapped it with a Wilson extended and problem solved.

I've looked at the new ones, in stock at Shooter's Choice in Kitchener ON. Seem ok, but there's lots i'd trust without worrying before i'd buy a para

More like flake off. But I have to say their new IonBond coating is really durable, unfortunately they don't use it on all of their guns.
