Biologists in the Maritimes have established the Eastern coyote has the Wolf gene and they are crafty.We have placed bait and they will not touch it for weeks and for whatever reason they will start feeding on it.We live in an area where the Deer yard up for the winter,so it is not hard to hear them howling day or night.Hardest is trying to get a shot at them like most of the Province it is heavily wooded.Will try on Saturday.
