Hehe so if I wanted to take it off of firendsforgood how much should I ofer him?
its amazing how many people here open a thread asking for advice, get it and when its not what they want to hear get mad or defensive, dude don't be rude there is no need to insult anyone take what you want from the info given thank them very much and move on you will find very little help here if you be a #### everytime you post a thread, i also had a desert eagle but it was in 44 mag i actually loved it and sold it to someone who actually loved it as much as me he actually pm'd me several months after the sale telling me how much he loved it so it was kind of cool and i may actually own one again as well but when a guy pays over a $1000 for a gun usually we tend to go for as new as possible its unfortunate but it seems to be the way of the ee
good luck on your potential sale i hope you get what you want for it and its unfortunate its not an xix cuz hey ya may have had a sale hahaha
The answer is, the market for a knowledgeable buyer has already been given; a more impulsive and less informed person may pay more. If the DE is a $2k gun new, I'm sure you can convince someone that $200 less than that is a deal, if they don't know there's generally a glut of used ones. The pistol is really not super practical, but yes it's fun. Just need to find a buyer with the right combination of wealth, machismo, and not paying attention to the EE. They are out there!
I couldn't get a cash deal to my satisfaction so had to rely on a cash + trade deal to get more value and mine was a current model at the time with a super low round count. Trade or Trade + cash is an option too, if there are other guns he's looking for.Guy on the EE had a chrome/gold accent DE on there for $1350
That gun was re-finished. . I was thinking of buying it until I got the hi rez pics and saw there were some big boo boos on it. Buyer beware
Blued is not a factory finish although it must have been way cool
Original black finish isn't bluing? All the fancy finishes must be mostly for 'show' as soon as it starts being a range regular I'm sure that beautiful finish gets marred quickly.
Stock factory finish is black oxide.......... depends on the finish but I can tell you polished chrome, matte chrome, brushed chrome and titanium gold are all tough as nails and will look good for many years to come.
That's not what I said but now that you're asking , no, black oxide is not really a durable finish.Black oxide... not so durable? Is that what you are saying?
I've decided to keep it because I love it
