For every user, owner, shooter or in charge of maintaining, any of the Ruger Mark Series (.22 LR) I, II, III or 22/45
and all of us who hate disassembling and even more re-assembling our Rugers, I have found a marvelous invention
called the All in One Tool (invented and patented by The Right Tool Company LLC
ht tps://w ww.facebook.com/TheRightToolCompany

They sell them via A mazon dot com and Brownells (Amazon will ship to Canada.
I am the 1st Canadian to order one (thanks to my good friend Allen Howell from the RA GunClub whose browsing found it.)

I invite you to visit their facebook website. There are several (positive) review and demo videos.
I know that, as from when I receive mine, my Ruger 22/45 will be the cleanest in Canada.

You can also find them on youtube if you search for
Ruger Mark Series all in one tool.

If the price is $35 that seems a bit steep for a piece of plastic.

Here's another handy tool that makes checking out stuff on youtube easier while surfing CGN.... :)

I watched the video and, honestly, see no need for it. My hands can do the same job for free and are easily portable.

That is why we have YMMV.
In my case the gun is not helping me very much. Very tight.
I know it should loosen with time and times disassembled/reassembled.
I prefer to use any tool/gadget that saves me time and stops me from cursing.

By another handy tool, do you mean embedding the youtube video?

Because this video is the tool about which I'm talking. Yeah I could have done that.
But since the company is a wholesaler (but not a CGN Sponsor), I didn't want to tout it too much on the site.

You can also note what I said

This search will bring up three videos.

Worst part for me is getting the hammer strut lined up with the MSH. Otherwise a nylon hammer is about all I use

For me too. And I have had to use the nylon hammer too much for this dingaling (as they call it).
If this tools makes it as easy as it looks, it's a win-win for me.
(I have even removed the magazine safety on my 22/45 which saves me
a few steps. Insert and eject magazine.)

Neat idea but kind of expensive for what it is. I have been taking mine down for almost 25 years without one so I would not be interested, but I could see people buying it if they struggle with breaking theirs down.

When you said it's not that hard to do, did you mean
it's not that hard to make/build/create a similar tool (which is where my no-noisy-power-tools comes in)
or it's not that hard to disassemble and reassemble. This one might not be hard to do for many people,
such as you. For others, such as yours truly, it's horrendous process. Any help I can get, I'll use.

It took me a couple of years but always with several printed pages from the manual
and from rugerforum.net and one or two youtubes running on a laptop. I'll accept any help I can get.

I hear you. When I got mine there was no internet to help me. The first time I broke it down I thought I'd have to take it to a smith to get it back together again LOL! Finally figured it out and have been good with it ever since. Actually I've helped others at the range on occasion getting theirs back together when they brought it to the club in pieces.

The tool is not for me but if helps others it's all good.

Well you are by promoting it and saying . When haven't got it yet.

I've seen the videos and am convinced it will do the job (of helping those who have cursed (and some still are) when
disassembling and reassembling.
Maybe I should rephrase
every owner, shooter, charge of maintenance would appreciate this tool
?

Haha, I see what you meant. I thought you were needing power tools to take the ruger down. Lol! :)
