how presses do you own

three. Started reloading with an old but lightly used RCBS JR2 that I got thru Craigslist. Used that to learn on 9mm, added 44 mag/special and 41 mag. Within a year and half added a Hornady LNL as I was competing more, soon after that started 45acp, and ramped up production for competition in single stack division. Almost a year ago got tired of change overs on LNL from 45 to 9mm, and I must confess grew weary of some of the LNL issues that you read about, so took the plunge with a Dillon 650. Dillon store is 15 minute drive from home. Honestly, the 650 friggin' rocks. Mid last year I got into 40 cal after bought a custom 2011 for limited division in competition. I like my arrangement now - single stage for load workups, LNL for large primers, 650 for small primers (which are bulk of my reloading these days - 9 for production division, 40 for limited division)

ETA - four - forgot about LEE LoadAll for shotshells that I picked up couple years ago thru Craigslist for 15 bucks. Hardly use it because can buy cases of simple 12 ga shot for less then can reload. Sometimes I play around with slug loads just for fun. Tried to make short shells to get one more in tube for three gun matches but did not work so great.

Started with 50th anniversary for reloading 8mm mauser. When i got into 223, buddy gave me his Dillon 550. I still deprime and resize on single stage, prime, powder and seat on 550.

I got a wicked deal on two Autochamp Mark IV's linear progressive presses set up in 9mm and 45ACP. After hours of tuning, tweaking and fiddling i got the 9mm one to work like a champ. avg 5 seconds per handle pull = 720 a minute but have to change out primer and brass tubes. I usually fill up my three brass tubes, three primer tubes and reload till that runs out. Then reload both tubes and get the press ready for next time.

I just got off the phone with Autochamp and ordered some parts to get the 45ACP up and going.

I also have a MEC shotgun progressive press but i use that to just crimp the top on my 7/8oz LEE slugs in #7 trap loads.

Running a Lee challenger press right now but as I'm getting more into pistol shooting I'm thinking about a progressive or at least a turret press. Couple basic single stage presses would be nice for sure.

2 Lee Loadmasters (one for small primer cases, one for large primer cases - yes, I'm too lazy to change the primer feeds)
1 RCBS Rockchucker (my original press, would never part with it)
1 Lee Classic Cast single stage
1 Lee Classic Turret (great press for a "I want higher volume but am not ready for a progressive" reloader, extremely solid
3 MEC 600 Jrs. (12 ga., 20 ga., .410)
1 MEC Sizemaster (12 ga.)

Holy crap, 9 presses. Where did they all come from?!!!

I'm still cranking them out on my first and only press I've ever owned,an RCBS Rockchucker I bought in 1977 from SIR mailorder. Can't ever see myself getting rid of it anytime soon either, she has loaded one helluva pile of rounds over the years.I've had zero issues with this press, not that I haven't buggered up a few times from my own stupidity at times, but the press itself has never let me down.Probably will be passed along to my son or daughter some day and hopefully they will keep her going as well.

I am up or down to 8 right now, it all depends on how you look at it as to weather I am collecting or parting with things..............although I do have 1 in the EE right now, but just got a RCBS Summit in the mail...........

RCBS Jr, LEE Classic singles...and MEC 600 and LEE Load-all for buck and slug.....YODAVE!!....A report on that Summit please:cool:...once you're done playing with it!....other reports on it seem favourable

So far I am loving it, no more reaching to the floor with a long handle and wrecking my hip. I bought the short handle to go with the press and it is more then I need for easy neck sizing and bullet seating, the real bonus is that I can pull the case out of the shell holder as soon as the die clears the top, as the case stays stationary and as soon as there is enough room the left hand is pulling the case out as the right hand is raising the ram.........I may need another

Just one. RCBS Rock Chucker and a lot of die sets. But I have a plan.
1) Dillon 650 Progressive for qty. reloading
2) ATRS to replace the Rock Chucker for single stage stuff.
3) Give Rock Chucker to my son to get him started
