Built "off" the action

Reamington, Whinechester, Sewage, Booger, Tricka, Weatherboy, Siko, etc... etc...

Glad I got that outta my system....

Never understood the seat down thing. I mean who can thread the needle perfectly every time its just asking for some guy to piss on it that way..

Gotta leave the seat down so that you can sit down and reply to this thread while peeing. Hard to hit the target and post on CGN at the same time unless you pee off the back deck.

The one I can't figure out is how in h3ll do you get Wah from Roy????? I mean come on....it's not even close!

This would seem to be a good time to bring up the ####-eyed designating of scope specifications that is so persistent... whenever I see it listed as; "3X9X40," I want to smack someone... why do you suppose that folks can't understand that the zoom range is 3 "to" 9 (3-9), NOT 3 "by" 9 (3X9)... how hard is it to figure out 3-9X40mm???

Someone??? Anyone???

:agree:

amen brother hoytcanon...amen...

Or "Remmy"; "Winnie"; and the worst..... "shottie".

"Piece of kit".........always makes me think "piece of sh*t". So if you're selling something, never call it a "piece of kit". And since we can't tell on our screen whether you're British or in the military, it makes you sound like a moron, even if the 700 Police you're selling comes with a free can of Krylon to cover the parts you missed..

FWIW, I think that might be a hangup unique to you. "piece of kit" is VERY commonly used in a LOT of Canada (outside Quebec and much of the maritimes). I used it LONG before I had anything to do with the military - just saying'.

But yes, daily lingo in the CAF.

Another thing I find amusing is when someone posts an item for sale and prices it in this manner...."Asking $1000 Firm"...

it can't be both "asking" and "firm"....it's a contradiction......it's one or the other, not both.

How bout? ..... "Last time offered and then it goes back in the safe".

Or .... "Pics for serious inquiries only".

Or... "No picture hunters..."

Like there are "subversive collectors of crappy cell phone pictures of used firearms" lurking in the dark recesses of the EE forums...

The firm is not that firm, then.

Kinda like trying to push a marshmallow thru a keyhole...lol...
