Guys, is there a specific amount of torque required for a Burris PEPR mount on an AR? Thanks for any answers. Jon.

Sorry I'm out of country so I can't check my specs however quality mounts like Leupold and Nightforce are torqued at 65 in lbs for the half inch nuts that secure them to the rail. We have in the past used this torque setting wrench on lesser quality mounts and could feel the threads slipping prior to reaching the pre set limit on the wrench and backed off. Be careful. Phil.

Looked into it Phil- 65lbs for cross bolts on quality rings (Leupold, Nightforce, Burris, etc.) and anywhere from 23-28 in/lbs for the ring screws. I usually go about 25 in/lbs. Experience has taught me to use Loctite at the very least on magnum calibers.
